Chris Mangum – President and CEO
A native of Raleigh and a graduate of N.C. State University with a BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Option, Chris worked with C.C. Mangum Company for 34 years. Chris worked in many different aspects of the business, but specialized in the management of C. C. Mangum’s fleet of equipment. Founded in 1927, C.C. Mangum was one of the premier heavy-highway/site contractors in central North Carolina. The Mangum family has long been an integral part of the economic development and growth of the greater Raleigh area, and a contributor towards the welfare of the communities in which it works. In 1996, Chris co-founded Jobs for Life, a non-profit organization with 225 U.S. sites devoted to helping those needing employment assistance gain the life skills needed to succeed at the workplace. Chris is currently serving as a Board member for Jobs for Life.
Shawn Feagans – Manager, Information Systems
Shawn Feagans graduated in 1992 from UNC-Greensboro with a B.S. in Information Systems and Operations Management. A native of Raleigh, he worked for C.C. Mangum Company for 15 years as the Information Systems Manager. During that time he developed a number of unique systems to help manage the company’s operations and provide valuable management information. Now he’s applying his skills and experience to developing solutions for the clients of C.C. Mangum Consulting. Shawn is married with 2 children and is an active member of Triangle Community Church.
Scott Johnson – Program Management
Scott graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Civil Engineering in 1989 and has lived and worked in the Raleigh, NC area for over 20 years. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, a Project Management Professional (PMP) and an accredited LEED Green Associate. He also holds his NC General Contractor license in both the Highway and Public Utility designations. Scott has extensive experience in construction and land development having worked as a design consultant, developer and general contractor in both the public and private sector. Scott is married and has two lovable Labrador Retrievers.
Chris Mangum, Jr. – Information Systems
Chris Mangum, Jr. graduated from Belmont University with a BM in Commercial Music in 2010. Chris got his start working summers in C.C. Mangum Company’s Information Systems department. Chris has several years of experience in IT and is A+ certified. After graduating Belmont, Chris worked for The Pantry, Inc. as a store-systems help desk specialist. Chris also enjoys music and plays bass on the worship team at Providence Baptist Church.
