TrakWise

TrakWise

Overall Description

Our fleet tracking software is the culmination of years of real-world application. TrakWise is our comprehensive solution for tracking machine utilization, location, maintenance and cost. The software was developed from the ground up, relying on our experience and expertise, to meet the equipment management needs of any mechanized fleet of equipment.

TrakWise is web-based and only requires a web-browser and internet connection to use. We’ve built in several levels of access, allowing you to control what data your employees can modify. TrakWise’s reports are generated in PDF format and the reports below are examples generated from a sample customer.

We have been careful in the design of TrakWise to provide you easy, reliable access to your information, but rest assured your data is carefully secured in our system.

Mapping

We have added mapping to TrakWise to make it easier to manage your fleet. Our new mapping interface allows you to get a bird’s eye view of your fleet and define and observe their various locations. Click the image below to see a sample of our mapping interface.

Reports

Equipment Locations  —  PDF

The Equipment Locations Report gives you a convenient view of the jobsite location of each of your pieces of equipment, along with a listing of all of the equipment at each jobsite.

Machine Utilization  —  PDF

Our machine utilization report gives you a concise view of how each machine is being utilized. That information is presented across the fleet by combining machines by type and expressing their usage against an industry standard of 40 working hours per week. In just a glance, you can see your entire fleet’s utilization for the previous week. If you want to go deeper, you can drill down to individual machines to study and review their utilization for the period, plus a 12-month trailing history of usage.

Coupled with Navtrak gps-enabled systems (see below), hours are captured automatically and transmitted to TrakWise daily. Use of Navtrak’s systems allows TrakWise to distinguish between working and idling hours. Navtrak can also send an alert if a machine idles beyond a preset limit.

Preventive Maintenance  —  PDF

The Preventive Maintenance (PM) report keeps track of all preventive services performed on each machine and vehicle to help you schedule future maintenance. Typically run on a weekly interval, the PM report notifies you of machines and vehicles that are past due a service and those units that are approaching a service interval. You will have the ability to choose which units are planned for servicing in the coming week. Each of your selections will generate the creation of a work order indicating the unit and its location, plus a listing of filters needed to perform the service. A consolidated list of filters is also created from your selections making the process of ordering filters much easier.

Equipment Analysis  —  PDF

At the heart of our cost containment philosophy is C.C. Mangum’s ‘bible’, our report for tracking all costs for each piece of equipment. The bible presents all the cost associated with each machine in the fleet in six major cost categories: fuel, parts, internal labor, third party services and repairs, ownership (depreciation, interest, lease) and other (license, tax, etc.). We also recommend tracking internal equipment revenue for cost recovery, which allows us to generate a P&L for each piece of equipment. The presentation of data can be personalized to meet your needs.

Fuel Analysis  —  PDF

Generally, fuel represents the largest component cost for operating a piece of equipment. C.C. Mangum has developed the Fuel Analysis Report to give you valuable insight into where and how the fuel is consumed and possible misuse or theft. The details of the last 3 fuelings are shown side by side. Comparison with other like types can indicate an irregularity which is indicated in red, suggesting a threshold has been exceeded. The thresholds are adjustable per Equipment Type to allow you to customize the report to fit your fleet.
